Bioenergy from sawmills

During debarking, sawing, cutting, and planing in the sawmill industry, energy-rich materials are produced. They become biofuels for both large and small heating facilities.

In the sawmill process, byproducts are generated. These are utilized and become renewable energy. First, the log is debarked and the bark is collected. During the sawing of the log, chips and sawdust are produced. While quality and length sorting, after drying, dry chips are formed. Planer shavings are produced when the timber is planed. All these products are part of SCA's fuel range.
