New appointments in SCA's business area Packaging

New appointments in SCA's business area Packaging Ole Terland, age 41, has been appointed President of SCA Packaging's Corrugated Board Division. He succeeds Anthony Thorne, who has accepted the position as President of a company outside the SCA Group. Terland will report to the President of the Packaging business area, Colin J. Williams. Ole Terland has been President of SCA Laakirchen in Austria since 1995. He began his career with SCA in 1987 as a section manager within SCA Research, and has subsequently held various commercial and management positions at SCA. Terland holds a Licentiate in Engineering. Terland's successor as President of SCA Laakirchen will be appointed in the near future. SCA's Packaging business area has expanded strongly during the past few years, both in terms of sales and geographically, the most recent addition being Metsä Corrugated. Based on the year to date, sales are projected to amount to approximately SEK 25 billion.
