Bo Göran Rydin (born May 7, 1932) was one of Sweden's most influential business leaders, above all through his work at SCA, where he served as CEO between 1973 and 1988, and subsequently as chairman of the board and honorary chairman.

During his career, he also held key positions in companies such as Skanska and Industrivärden, where he was chairman of the board, as well as Volvo and Handelsbanken, where he was vice chairman, and he became involved in cultural institutions such as the The Royal Swedish Opera.

Rydin was deeply committed to research, which was reflected in his establishment of the Bo Rydin’s Foundation for Scientific Research. He was awarded many awards, including an honorary doctorate at the Stockholm School of Economics and became a member of the Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences.
