A variety of different cargo

We handle a wide range of different cargo types and combine all modes of transport to find the best and most competitive solution to add value in your supply chain. We handle and transport everything from production materials to rolling or crawling goods and project cargo. To get an overview of what types of goods we handle, we have divided them into five different categories.

Goods types

Production cargo

Pulp, Kraftliner rolls, aluminium, steel, batteries and components to the industries are examples of production materials that we handle on a daily basis. These types of goods can be shipped on our RoRo-vessels, as well as on Breakbulk vessels. We ship great parts of our own SCA-goods, but also goods for external customers that makes use of our advantageous transport network.

Rolling goods

If you have a rolling unit that is drivable, no matter if it is a wheel loader, a car or a trailer, we can ship it to or from Sweden on our RoRo-vessels.

Project and construction cargo

We can see a great increase in demand of project goods. One of the reasons is the great increase of industry investments that is now being made in our region and in the northern part of Sweden. Our RoRo-vessels suits very well to ship larger components and project goods such as concrete elements, wind turbine parts and other large or heavy pieces.

Goods for recycling

Goods for recycling is an increasing category for transport. Many industries today are using recycled material in their production, SCA is an example of such an industry as we use large volumes of recycled fibres in our own production of Kraftliner and CTMP. Recycled textiles and mineral wool are other examples of recycled goods that we handle.
